Tim grew up in Northwest Indiana with a love for sports and competition. He played soccer in high school and went on to play all four years at Wabash College. It was there that he also found an interest in lacrosse. He eventually helped build the Wabash Lacrosse club team and served as the president and coach of the team even after graduation. Once Tim completed his degree in Mathematics, he also went on to coach lacrosse at Carmel High School in Indiana. In 2013, Tim moved to Minneapolis for a new job opportunity in product management.
After some time of trying to hit back & bis, chest & tris several days a week, Tim found CrossFit through his brother-in-law in 2014. He stepped into his first gym, thinking he would just do an “open gym” membership and after his first class, he threw that idea out the window because he fell in love with the community. Immediately he knew that this was where he was going to coach next because of the power that CrossFit has to empower people and change lives!
In 2016, Tim began coaching CrossFit and has loved every minute of it. He loves seeing people grow strong, both physically and mentally and also seeing that mental toughness grow into other areas of their lives. He loves learning and growing as a coach in order to help his athletes meet their goals effectively and safely.
Outside of CrossFit, Tim works full-time as a Product Owner for Calabrio in downtown Minneapolis. Tim loves spending time with his beautiful wife Ashley, their daughter Cora, son Maddox, and their dog Jameson. Tim also loves spending time outdoors, doing projects around the house, and visiting with friends and family.
